Congratulations to KT and Yiqun!
On October 10th, they competed in Overture's first Ballroom competition along with fellow BBDT teammates. KT and Yiqun won a spot to dance in Ballroom with a Twist on Friday, Oct. 16th at the Overture Center.
Congratulations to Alex and Katja!
BBDT would like to congratulate Alex and Katja for placing 6th at National Professional Championships in Orlando.
Next workshop with Alex and Katja is 10/25 from 1-5 pm at Multipurpose Room , SAC 333 East Campus Mall

BBDT members enjoy the benefits of:
- Weekly Group Lessons Two hours of instruction per week from our amateur instructors.
- Professional Lessons Seven weekend visits over the semester from our elite professional coaches from Chicago.
- Private lessons Available private lessons with our professional coaches.
- Monday Guided Practices 7-8pm An experienced BBDT member will lead beginners through material covered in class that week. Alternately, feel free to come practice on your own or with a partner.
- Sunday Open Practices 1pm-4pm. On days with no weekend workshops, BBDT members will be praciticing their material but are always willing to take a break to answer questions.
- Discounted UWMBDA Membership is available to BBDT members at a rate of $7 (normally $15), which includes a UWMBDA gift (shirt, shoe bag, or shoe Brush).
- Competitions BBDT organizes group trips to regional competitions and workshops.
- Showcases BBDT also puts on a dance showcase once a semester where members have the opportunity to perform solo or formation routines.
- Social Events: Come join the team and meet a new network of friends from the dance community!
